Client:

Sky Investments Ltd.

A Japanese corporation, with divisions involved in Project Management and Development; Environmental Engineering; Clean Energy; and Queensland Business Centre in Tokyo.

The task:

As stated by Ko Nagata, Managing Director: “Sky Investments is planning to launch a new corporate structure with a strong global brand on April 1, 2013.”
We were appointed to create the new brand.

The project:

First, we rationalised the corporate and divisional structure in communication terms, and simplified it to three silos.

Then, using detailed client briefing and extensive desk research, we created the global brand’s name, logo and positioning.

New business name:

Key aspects of naming the new brand were:

  • Inclusion of the word ‘Sky’
  • An international persona
  • The availability of a Dot-com domain name

Global Sky Group

Domain name:

Positioning statement:

We based the positioning of Global Sky Group on two key factors:

  1. The Group has a fundamental ‘clear-skies’ policy on protecting the global environment.
  2. That policy is articulated and implemented through all divisions and personnel.

Our vision is clear.

Logo suite for Group and Divisions:

The logo suite utilises the existing corporate typeface and colours of Sky Investments to ensure continuity on branding fundamentals.
